  • Navigation: The trail leading upto and across the Larkya La Pass can be confusing. There are difficulties in such conditions as snowfall, fog, or low visibility. The trekking path may not always be truly marked, whereas the guides are able to read the terrain very well. They make sure the trekkers do not get lost. Guides are familiar with the safest route and help trekkers to avoid potential dangers such as slippery paths or snowdrifts. Moreover, the guides also help you to follow a well-managed pace. Unprepared trekkers may find these conditions severely hazardous. Guides stay up-to-date with the weather conditions. They offer advice on when to attempt the crossing and whether the situation is too hard. Guides often monitor the weather forecast closely and communicate with other guides in the region. This way, they ensure the safety of the group.
  • Logistical Support: While traversing across Larkya La Pass, it is the physically toughest aspect. It requires proper planning and logistical coordination. The presence of those guides will also help the trekking team make all advance reservations. They make certain that food, water, and rest areas are available during such a strenuous period.
