Everest Panorama Trek
1250

Overview

Everest Panorama Trekking is an ideal trek for those that are most fascinated by the beauty, aesthetics and cultural richness of a place without having to go through exhausting downhills and uphill trails.  Within a short time frame, the trek allows you to witness the spectacular Himalayan giants like Mount Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and many others. Along with the close proximity to the highest mountain in the world, one also gets to indulge in the beautiful Sherpa settlements, their cultures, costumes, lifestyles as well as numerous monasteries, Gompas and other serene places but without the hassle and tiring walks of other trekking routes.

Nepal Eco Adventure offers you a relatively easy Everest Panorama Trekking. The Everest Panorama Trekking begins at Lukla after 45 minute scenic flight from Kathmandu. Your final destination of this trek is Tengboche village on the lap of Ama Dablam. Tengboche village itself is on top of the hill and is bounded by snow capped mountains. The main attraction of the village is the famous Tengboche Monastery, which houses an apparent Yeti’s scalp when the story of the Yeti in the Khumbu region is still a mystery to the world. Everest Panorama trekking also includes the hidden valley of Khumbu- Thame to the northwest of Namche Bazaar which is visited by very few tourists each year.

The few days of this adventure will be spent in the delightful and scenic villages of Khumjung and Namche bazaar, where the trekkers will have the opportunity to interact with the legendary Sherpa people and participate in their astonishing traditional lifestyle.

If you like to make the trek more challenging then you can also opt for Everest Base Camp trekking and Everest Base Camp Gokyo Cho La Pass Trekking.

  •  A scenic mountain flight to Lukla.
  • Visit to Tengboche Monastery.

  1. Everest Panorama Trek
We, a family of 4 (wife, 2 teenage kids age 13 and 15 and myself) did the Everest panorama trekking over the Christmas and New Year's period. As we had some more time available than what this trekking requires, we decided to add a side trip for 3 days from Namche Bazaar, which brought us to Thame, Khumjung, Phorche and Pangboche before hitting the actual target, Tengboche Monastery. The time we were there, it was low season but once we left the main Everest trail towards Thame, it even became more quieter. For us, the absolute highlights of the trip were: - the flight to/from Lukla - the high suspension bridge between Jorsalle and Namche - Thame and the descend from there towards Thamo through the snow - the Yeti remains in Khumjung and Pangboche - Tengboche monastery - the fantastic views towards Everest/Khumbila/Lhotse/Ama Dablam along the way - meeting the fantastic people and Sherpa families in the Khumbu region - meeting some individual sherpa's that had summited Everest, Annapurna 1, Makalu and Shishapangma. It was great to hear their stories over dinner around the woodstove in the evening in some of our tea houses along the way. Our guide was Nir and we were very happy with the way how the trek was done and Nir's knowledge about the mountains, the wildlife, the local customs. It really shows that he is very experienced in the area. He is also father of 2 teenage children and we really liked his calm approach towards the children. I would be very happy to take him again on our next visit. The trip organisation (end-to-end) by Chhatra was perfect without any issue whatsoever, so we are very happy customers and will be back.
