Mount Manaslu, the 8th highest mountain in the world, shares its border with China (Tibet). Government policies in Nepal require special entry permits in the case of trekking area with an open border. Some of the other trekking routes, such as Tsum Valley, Larke La Pass, and Manaslu Base Camp also share their borders with Tibet.

Manaslu Trek requires special permits. Thus, permit charge is quite high as compared to ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) and EBC (Everest Base Camp) but is still cheaper than other treks such as Upper Mustang. You may get confused about the entry permit cost and the procedures to obtain an entry permit. So, it is best to consult with an authorized local trekking agency or  you can contact us: https://nepalecoadventure.com/contact-us/
